Title IX was enacted in 1972 with the intent of ensuring greater inclusion of girls and women in sport.
Today we discuss whether this landmark legislation is under threat with the inclusion of transgender athletes.
Currently, proponents of a "female first" Title IX position point to scientific based arguments as the reason to exclude transgender athletes.
